Born in Northern Labrador, Paul developed a passion for wild adventures after witnessing his first dog sled race, the Labrador 400. Inspired by this experience, he dreamed of owning his own dog sled team to traverse Canada’s rugged northern landscape.

His began in Yellowknife, NWT, with Canadian Inuit dogs and Siberians, exploring the majestic Great Slave Lake with his family and creating cherished memories during multi-day adventures to his cabin. After watching the Yukon Quest, the world's toughest sled dog race, in 2013, Paul yearned to explore even more areas of the Yukon Territory, which led him to train Alaskan Huskies.

He participated in two Yukon Quests with his team, gaining a profound sense of accomplishment and deepening his bond with his loyal companions. This unique relationship inspired to share the shared experience of man and dog, giving birth to Braveheart Adventures. Through countless miles on remote trails, in the dark and light, and enduring temperatures as low as -50°C, the true nature and strength of the dogs shone through. Every adventure is made possible the brave hearts of these incredible canine athletes.
